Zulip is a web-based group chat system and enables the synchronous exchange of text messages. The interface allows independent creation of groups (called "streams", comparable to email lists), further subdivision into topics (called "topics", content structure) and setting personal preferences.

First steps
- First start the web browser and call the following URL: https://chat.cs.uni-paderborn.de
- Log in with the Uni-AccountDer nach der erfolgreichen Immatrikulation (Studierende) oder Anstellung (Angestellte) beim IMT erstellte Zugang.. The website also allows access via Kerberos.
- For technical reasons, it is currently not possible for the Zulip server to load your name from the IMT LDAP server during the first login. Please enter your full name there.
- If you receive an error message that you are not authorized for the service, your browser may not support Kerberos authentication. Current versions of Firefox or Chromium are working alternatives.
